The above picture was supposedly drawn in 1891. The photo on the left was taken in 1901 after the sale to Bemis Bag.
The drawing took a few liberties. It shows a trolley line going by, which never happened. At the time the line stopped north of the railroad tracks and then eventually only down Shelby Street a block east. There was no ornate fencing and sidewalks did not arrive for many years later. Still, it is fairly accurate though.
