Sometimes, two cards look alike at first glance. Take for instance the girl sitting on a crescent moon used for the Crescent #44 deck and the El Dorado #49.
The only difference appears to the amount of shading. But, let's look closer...
The Crescent deck is holding a club flush and the El Dorado deck is holding a spade flush. A good thing to know if trying to identify an unknown card.
This design shows up once more in a Perfection Playing Card deck. The Perfection Playing Card Company was absorbed by U.S.P.C.C. in 1894, but the name continued to be used until c.1915.
The deck was made for the Page Manufacturing of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The company only existed between 1906 and 1911. The Exchange Place address in Boston was a stock exchange and business building.

Perfection also had a Joker that combined the card playing girl and an owl similar to NCC's owl.
